Honda, the Japanese carmaker, has reveled the updated 2016 Accord in Silicon Valley ahead of its launch in August, 2015. Since it's a US-bound model, it won't come to India in the same state; but the company will make alternations to make it suitable for Indian road conditions. Upon its launch the new Honda Accord will take on the likes of Volkswagen Passat, Toyota camry and Skoda Superb.
The updated model features revised front and rear bumpers, new head-lamps, larger chrome grille and tail-light clusters with LED elements. Moreover, it gets optional 19-inch alloy wheels and a different aluminium hood. Though the exterior updates are minimal, the cabin of the car has received several changes. The vehicle now comes with a 7-inch touch-screen display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, rain-sensing wipers, 60:40 split folding rear seats and few other changes.

The American model of the saloon will continue to feature the existing 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder, i-VTEC and 3.5-litre V6 engines. While the 6-speed manual gearbox will come as a standard fitment, a 6-speed automatic and a CVT will be offered with the 3.5-litre petrol and 2.4-litre engines respectively.
